1.     Elizabeth Taylor

Elizabeth Taylor wore wedding dress so many times that only an entire article can do justice to showcase the versatility of dresses. However, the first wedding in 1950 with Conrad Hilton at the tender age of 18, Elizabeth Taylor married the heir to the famous hotel chain, Conrad Hilton in 1950, at a wedding gathering more than 700 guests, on the heights of Los Angeles.

While the experts announced a dress signed by a British house like Burberry, Stella McCartney or Ralph & Russo, Meghan Markle amazed everyone. She chose a creation signed Clare Waight Keller, artistic director of the French fashion house Givenchy. Clean lines, sober cut: Prince Harry’s wife wanted to not overshadow Kate Middleton’s wedding dress by playing simplicity.

3.     Grace Kelly

This was the top-notch: Grace Kelly’s classic, high-waisted dream dress, designed by designer Helen Rose, who also created Kelly’s dresses for the movie “High Society”. She wore this jaw-dropping classic when she married Monaco’s Prince Rainier III on April 19, 1956.

Helen Rose, who had already dressed Alfred Hitchcock’s favorite actress in four of her films, designed the two-piece ensemble.  Covered with Alençon lace, the silk taffeta outfit consisted of a skirt and a fitted bodice at the high neckline.  The fabric was embroidered with custom patches of silk thread to give the illusion of brocade.

4.     Pippa Middleton

Six years after making the buzz in her white bridesmaid dress, at the wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William, its Pippa Middleton’s turn to put the ring on her finger. The event was highly anticipated, and it took place this afternoon in Britain: the little sister of the Duchess of Cambridge married her fiancé James Matthews in a wedding almost worthy of a princess!
