Custom Bags: Printed Totes, Stitched Duffels and More

Custom bags with your… logo: printed totes, stitched duffels, backpacks, drawstrings and EMS packs. No minimum, and you see a mockup before anything is made.

The best custom bag is the one somebody still carries to the grocery store a year after your event. That's the whole game.

So when people ask us about custom bags, we start with one question: will this get printed or stitched? The answer points you to the right kind of bag faster than anything else. Our bags section holds five groups (totes, backpacks, duffels, drawstring bags and EMS backpacks), and they don't all decorate the same way.

Custom bags we usually print

The tote section has 99 bags and drawstrings has 26, and many of them are listed for printing. They come from Liberty Bags, Q-Tees, econscious, Bayside, Augusta Sportswear, Under Armour and others.

Take the Liberty Bags R1500. It's 100% nylon and packs down into its own pouch, and the print goes front center or back center, clear of the folding-pouch seams. Simple reusable shopper. Thin, light fabric like that is a printing job, not a stitching one.

Canvas totes print well too. Bigger, flatter panel, and the ink has something solid to sit on. Bag prints are usually screen printing (ink pushed through a mesh screen, one screen per color) or DTF, a printed film that's heat pressed on and handles full color well.

Shop note: on a tote, measure the panel, not the bag. Handles, gussets and pockets eat into the print area, and a logo sized for the whole bag ends up crossing a seam.

Bags that take embroidery

Duffels and backpacks are where thread comes in. The Liberty Bags 8806 duffel, a recycled 23 1/2" large duffel in 600D fabric (600 denier, a thick, tough weave), allows embroidery or printing on the front or back side panel, and it comes in 14 colors, including Bright Yellow, Hot Pink and Maroon. Many backpacks have an approved spot on the front pocket that takes embroidery, printing or an embroidered patch.

Here's the deal: a duffel that rides the team bus every weekend is a thread job in our book. It gets thrown under seats and dragged across gym floors, and a stitched logo just keeps looking like a logo.

The MERET EMS backpacks are a different animal: work packs for medical crews, including hi-vis versions. We'd keep it to a compact logo or custom branding, kept well clear of any reflective parts, and check the exact pack with you first. Check what your agency or service requires for hi-vis gear before you order.

Monogrammed bags and names

A monogram is just initials, stitched small. It looks best on a duffel side panel or a backpack front pocket, where the fabric is firm enough to hold small letters without puckering.

Thin nylon totes are the tricky one for monograms. A printed name usually comes out cleaner on that fabric. Little detail, but it matters on letters that are only an inch or two tall.

You can put a different name or set of initials on every bag in the same order. Just give us each name typed out the way it should read.

Custom beach bags and leisure totes

We don't have a section called beach bags, but a few totes do that job well. The Liberty Bags 8869 Leeward Boater Tote is 11 oz, 100% cotton canvas with 24-inch contrast handles and an 11-inch drop, so it rides on the shoulder. The Liberty Bags 8867 Seaside Boater Tote is 9 oz cotton canvas with an outside pocket and a contrast gusset. There's also the Liberty Bags 7002 P&O Cruiser Tote.

The catch with boater totes: the handles (and on the Seaside, the gusset) are often a contrast color, so your logo has to look good against the natural canvas and play nice with the trim. Print it front center, away from the handle joins and the pocket opening.

Custom makeup bags and toiletry bags?

Plainly put, we don't carry custom makeup bags or a custom toiletry bag right now. No small zip pouches in the range at the moment.

The closest thing is the Q-Tees Q611 Zippered Canvas Tote, which closes up, but it's a full-size tote, not a pouch. If a pouch is what you need, call us and we'll talk through what's possible.

There's no minimum. The MOQ is 1, and you can mix bag colors in one order. You'll get a mockup in 2-3 working days, and small orders take 7-10 working days after you approve it. Big event run? Ask us for a large-order timeline. The bag itself, logo size, number of print colors or stitch count, placements and quantity are what change the price, so get a quote once you've narrowed it down. We follow our Artwork Acceptance Policy on every logo you send.
