Custom Embroidery for Apparel and Headwear

Houston Embroidery Service decorates clothing and hats for businesses, teams, schools, organizations and branded merchandise programs. We can place logos, names, text and approved artwork on polos, work shirts, jackets, hoodies, uniforms, caps, beanies and other suitable items.

Embroidery adds thread-based texture and a professional finish that works especially well for company uniforms, staff apparel, teamwear and branded headwear. The best method depends on the artwork, garment fabric, decoration area and the look you want to create.

Choose the Right Embroidery Method

Flat Embroidery

Flat embroidery stitches the design directly onto the garment or hat. It is a dependable choice for logos, names, lettering and detailed brand marks. Thread colors, stitch direction and density are planned to keep the design clear and balanced on the selected item.

3D Embroidery

Also called 3D puff embroidery, this method raises selected parts of a design above the surface. It is commonly used for bold lettering and simple logo elements on structured caps. Artwork may need to be simplified or adjusted so the raised areas sew cleanly.

Tackle Twill Appliqué

Tackle twill appliqué uses cut fabric shapes secured with stitching. It creates a classic athletic look for team names, numbers and large lettering on jerseys, sweatshirts and jackets. Fabric colors and border stitching can be coordinated with the garment and brand identity.

Other Modern Embroidery Methods

Some designs need a different stitch, texture or appliqué approach. We review the artwork and garment construction before recommending a method. This helps avoid choosing a style that looks attractive on screen but does not translate well to the selected fabric or placement.

From Artwork to Approved Production

Artwork Review and Mockup

Send your logo or design with the garment, quantity, size and placement details. We review whether the artwork is suitable for embroidery and prepare a production mockup. Artwork, size, colors and placement must be approved before production begins.

Placement and Final Decoration

Common locations include the left or right chest, sleeve, back, cap front, cap sides and cap back. Available space varies by garment style, seams, pockets and hat construction, so final sizing is confirmed for the actual product.

Artwork Acceptance Policy

We do not accept artwork that contains or promotes alcoholic products, pornography or sexually explicit material, illegal activity, drugs, terrorism, hate speech, racism, discrimination, or content that violates generally accepted community standards. We may reject any design that conflicts with this policy.

Spoilage Policy

Custom decoration carries an allowable spoilage rate of up to 3%. Items damaged above that allowance are normally replaced; when replacement is impractical, the garment value above 3% is refunded or adjusted. Read our full spoilage policy before ordering.
