Custom Snapback Hats with Flat or Curved Bills

Custom snapback hats with… flat or curved bills, tall or low fronts, plus youth and women's caps. Embroidered with your logo, from just one cap. Get a quote.

Turn the cap sideways before you look at anything else. Is the bill dead straight, or does it bend down toward the eyes? With custom snapback hats, that one line changes the look more than the color does. The snap at the back is only the closure, a plastic strap you adjust. The bill and the height of the front set the style. So this page sorts the caps by bill first, then the front, then your logo.

People often say "snapback" when they mean the flat-bill look. Understandable. But most of the caps on this page actually curve.

Flat Bill or Curved: Which Custom Snapback Hats Suit Your Group?

There are more than 200 snapbacks here, so we sorted them by the bill wording in each one's details:

Permacurv is the curved bill named on 22 Flexfit and YP Classics listings; the 6789M is one of them, and its own name says "Curved Bill." For the 19 that don't describe it, check the product photos first.

A flat bill keeps the front straight and squared off. A curved bill is the classic ball-cap shape. Neither is wrong. It comes down to what your group already wears.

Who orders them? Mostly companies and teams, going by the listings: company and team logos come up in nearly all of them, and some also name clubs, crews and events.

Custom Flatbill Hats: Tall Fronts, Undervisors and Blends

Shopping for custom flatbill hats? Look at the profile next. Profile means how tall the front of the crown stands. Of the 32 flat-bill listings, 20 call the crown high-profile, "hi pro" or high-crown. Tall front, straight bill. That's the pairing most of this group comes in.

Then flip the cap over. The undervisor is the underside of the bill. It's green on most 6089M colors and on the Big Accessories BA539, and silver on Flexfit's 110AR1 and 110AR3.

Plenty of listings don't name it at all. If that color matters next to your logo colors, open the product page first.

Fabric varies more than people expect:

  • Acrylic/wool blends: the 6089M is 80/20 on most colors (White, Camo and Multicam use other blends), the BA539 is 85/15, and the Flexfit 110F blends acrylic, wool and PU spandex at 83/15/2.
  • Cotton twill, like the YP Classics 6007 (five-panel, high-profile, green undervisor).
  • The Big Accessories BA516: 100% cotton twill, buckram-backed front panels (buckram: a stiff layer behind the front fabric) and eight rows of stitching on the flat bill.
  • Richardson 511, for a flat bill with a mesh back.

Want custom flat brim hats that sit lower and softer? A few here fit that. The Columbia 209319 PHG Terminal is unstructured, low profile, 100% cotton, with a rope braid on the flat bill. The LEGACY Chill, LOCALE WILSON and Richardson 256 are low-profile flat bills too.

Does Every Snapback Close With a Snap?

Mostly. Not always. The Flexfit 110P lists an adjustable elasticized D-ring with a hook-and-loop closure, and the Flexfit 110C lists hook-and-loop. On the DRI DUCK 3321, the solid-back versions use hook-and-loop and only the mesh backs snap. If your crew expects a snap, skip the first two, and order the 3321 with a mesh back.

Twelve others word it as a soft snap: "Softsnap" on four Richardsons, "soft snapback" on styles like the Pukka 5100 and Flexfit 110M5. Still a snap closure, just a different name for it.

Sizing has a surprise too. Nearly every listing shows the size as Adjustable or One Size, but three come in sizes: the Richardson 112 in M/L and XL, the 212 in S/M and M/L, and the 115 in M/L only. That XL on the 112 is the only XL option on this page. Got a few bigger heads on the list? That's the one to look at.

Youth and women's caps are mixed in as well. For kids: the Augusta 6206 Youth, Big Accessories BX019Y, LEGACY OFAY and the Team 365 TT801Y and TT802Y. For women: the Big Accessories BA540P has a ponytail opening, per its listing, seven Infinity Her styles (ROSIE, JO, TESS, MAYA, GABY, COLBIE and CHARLIE) list a concealed ponytail opening, and the Imperial L338M has elastic ponytail cross bands in its mesh back.

A lot of these caps have a mesh back, trucker style. Our trucker hats page goes deeper on those. Want no strap at all, sold by size? See fitted hats. Every cap style we carry sits under custom hats, and shirts and jackets to match are in custom apparel.

Custom Embroidered Snapback Hats: Planning the Front

The front of the crown carries the main logo. On the order forms we checked, like the 6089M and the Richardson 511, the Front Center box offers embroidery, text or logo, up to 5″, or an embroidered patch. Before a needle moves, the logo gets digitized, which means our digitizer redraws it as a stitch plan the cap machine can run.

Camo tip: five listings here, the 6089M among them, warn that camouflage patterns may feature brand logos. Ordering camo? Look over the mockup (your logo laid out on the cap, ready for your OK) for any marks in the print near your logo spot before you approve it. Easy to miss.

Want it raised? 3D puff embroidery puts foam under the stitches. Structured fronts hold puff best, and the 6089M and 110F listings both say simple lettering or logo elements may be considered for a raised stitch. Ask us in the Instructions box. Got a small tagline too? Tiny lettering stays sharper as satin stitch (narrow, smooth stitches), so we'd leave that line flat.

Thinking of a second logo on a side panel? The order forms have Left Side and Right Side boxes, but check each listing's details line first. Every Pukka style lists a tonal icon on the right side. The Under Armour 6013112 and Columbia 216513 list brand marks on the left. Tell us which side you want, and we'll check that it's free on your cap.

We'd stitch most logos straight onto the front and keep a patch for a badge-shaped mark. Our custom embroidery services page covers the stitch side in more detail. File types and logo quality? See our Artwork Acceptance Policy for that part.

Ordering: One Cap Counts

Smallest order? One custom snapback. That's our MOQ (the fewest caps one order can hold), and that minimum holds for every cap on this page.
How long? Mockup/artwork time is 2–3 working days. Full production runs a further 7–10 working days, starting once you've approved it.
A big run? Get in touch, and we'll work out a timeline for it.

What moves the price: the cap itself, the logo size and how dense its stitching is (stitch count), which spots you fill, and your cap total.

When you open a quote request, upload the logo and give us two answers in the notes: flat bill or curved, and does a side panel get a mark too. That's what we need to price your cap.

For a first flat-bill order, we'd pull up the 6089M: tall front, green undervisor and 36 colors on the listing. Simple start.
